Letting go is one of the most important aspects of healing. Too often we try to take ownership of people, places, ideas, thoughts, and things that do not really belong to us. Freedom from pain can be accomplished by releasing painful thoughts. Our bodies follow our minds..
Today’s Healing
Possession is a very powerful force. I have become acutely aware of how owning that which does not work or even make sense, has a powerful effect upon the body. Let me give you a few examples: Oh, that is just MY sinus acting up or; that is MY anxiety; or I always act that way when MY depression kicks in or; MY sciatica.. I think those are enough to give you the idea. I think I’ll stop typing here, MY writers cramp is acting up. (just kidding :-))
It is a matter of what we give our energy and attention to. When I declared I am going to build another house, it was only a matter of time before the house was built. I actuated that thought into a reality. Just like those previous thoughts.. Everything is energy. When I placed my energy on building a house, a house was built. When I place my energy on possessing a disfunction in my body, well..
A simple way to affect a healing in this respect is to say: when I used to have depression or; when I used to act that way.. In this way you are being loyal to truth, not some synthetic program, and you can heal.. Just make the jump!
